Happy Birthday to Betty!!!!

WOW!!! It has been a VERY long time since I blogged anything, but because it is Betty's birthday (and I love her), I am posting the card I made just for her.
This image was made for her especially for her BIG Birthday!!! I won't tell anyone how old she is (whispers 40). Ahhhhh.......to be that young again. Lol. I would never want to go back to 16 or anything like that but 40 would be very doable. Time machine anyone? Hahaha
Anyway, back to task at hand, this is a blog hop so I hope you got here from Kerrie's Blog. If not you can go to the beginning so you don't miss a thing. You would be at Corinne's Blog if you want to start at the beginning.

Here is my card:
(Hope you like it Betty....watch for it in the mail!!)

Now that you have seen my card, Hop on over to Holly's Blog to see what she has created!!

I DO Love Chocolate!!

Here is another great image from SBS called "I Love Chocolate Rio". She is part of the Emos Valentines line. They are all great...you really need to go check them out. We-theDT- have been focusing on this line of images and posting one every day since the 14th of January on the SCC Blog. If you have not been over there to check them out it is a MUST because the DT has been doing a FABULOUS job with these images!!!
I wanted this to be spectacular but my power has been blinking and I was afraid I was going to lose power before I got this done and posted so I rushed it. I am going to give it to one of my grand daughters for Valentines Day and I think she will still like it. They love getting handmade things from me. They are only 5 and 6 so I hope they never outgrow that!
Well, here she is:

The DT has outdone themselves. I have a personal favorite but I love horses and her coloring on the image is OUTSTANDING! BUT....you have to go see it for yourself!

Now on to my creation. I have used a Wee Stamp from Whimsy Stamps and purchased it at my LSS since she carries the full line of Whimsy's :)

Happy Birthday To My Favorite Twins!!!!!

We are celebrating a double birthday here...one on time and one a bit early! Yes, twins!!! However, one....Corinne...born on the 29th....and the other...Irene....born on the 30th!! I LOVE THAT!!! And I don't blame Irene for not wanting to share her birthday with the evil twin.....hahaha. (She is not really evil...she is a sweetheart (they BOTH are) but don't tell her I said that...lol)
These images were drawn by Betty at Simply Betty Stamps...SBS just for this occasion....because Betty is sweet like that, too!! I love these women and all the women in our little...well, growing...group!!
I shall make you wait no longer....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CORINNE....
I do really love you! (wink, wink)
I made this with this background because I know how much you would enjoy the beach and being all hot and swimming in the ocean getting all that salt water in your hair and washing off all your makeup...hahaha
(better than the leaves from last year...right??)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IRENE!!!!
And here is the SWEET ONE!!! I think this fits her just perfectly...all sweet and innocent! You know how they say twins are opposite....well, there ya have it...hahahaha!!

I truly wish for a wonderful birthday for both of you!!

Bella Boudoir...

I love my Stamping Chef images and this one, Bella Boudoir, did not disappoint me! She has images for all of us...the quirky, the serious, the smexy, etc...lol

So, this is my entry to the CMC DT for December 6th, The Holiday Challenge. We can do anything as long as it is holiday. I chose to put Bella on a gift box with trees behind her and a bit of "snow" around her feet. The mini poinsettia is a Memory Box die...that I LOVE!! I colored her with Copic markers and cut the box out of my Cameo.

A SCRAPBOOK PAGE??!!??!!

For anyone who knows anything about me-I am NOT a scrapbooker. I really only truly like to color but make myself put some projects on pages just because I will color and color and then throw my colored images in a big ole heap never to be seen again. I think this is a waste, but I still do it because my passion is in the coloring, not the cardmaking or whatever. However, this challenge over at CMC was anything goes and we had a stamp company to work with-Digi My World. I kept looking at these images trying to decide what I wanted and this little group called "Christmas Morning" kept speaking to me. I decided to actually make a layout with these images. Don't judge me....I bet it took me over 4 hours to do this layout....(told you I am not a scrapbooker! lol)
Anyway, I think it turned out pretty cute so now I have to go dig out some pics to put on here to make it complete.....I am sure once I find the right pictures, I will add a few things to my page, but we will see.
Without further delay....here is my layout. Hope you enjoy it!

Die cut is from Miss Kate's....love the titles there. It was cut out on my Cameo. Will be back later (after work) to list the Copic markers I used to color my images!

SBS Challenge...

My challenge was to make this a Thanksgiving card. It was a bit of a stretch since my image is on a sled on the snow, but I guess some people have snow for Thanksgiving, right? anyway I ended up using autumn colors and made it a Happy Thanksgiving sentiment on the inside.
Hop on over to the Simply Betty's SCC blog and join in on the challenge. AND see what the other DT members have created for you.
My image is Sledding London and you can get her HERE.
Here she is....hope you like her :)

Until later.....happy coloring!!

The question to answer for your free image is: "How many treatments are FDA approved for children with PH?"

If you are here and didn't go to the SCC Blog, You HAVE to go to the blog and see what the other DT members came up with. I promise it will be worth clicking on the link!
My image is Betty and Short Snout. I love these images and if you do as well, you can get it (and others) HERE.

My first DT post for CMC...

I was accepted on to the CMC DT and this is my very first post for them. This DT is led by Suzanne Dean and I have followed her around for some time watching her colorings and reading about her mishaps...that are continuous...lol
I like being on DT's becasue it makes me reach out there and challenge myself for one thing. The other thing is that I REALLY love to color and not really do anything with my colorings. I just color and color and throw them into piles when I get them done so this is going to make me actually use my images ON things!
This challenge was a man card and we had to use Dr. Digi images. I struggle with man cards, as do most of us, I think. It is so much easier to decorate with flowers and ribbons than with...ummmm....yep, that is what I struggle with. I ended up throwing a few staples on it to make it "industrious" haha.

I hope you like what I did with him...introducing:

Until later....Happy Coloring!!

Coming Out Of the Ground!!!!

Today is day 8 of the 13 days of Halloween challenge from the Simply Betty Stamps Blog...or SBS as we all fondly call it :) You really need to go and check it out. There are fantastic prizes for the daily challenges and anyone can join in. But, even if you don't want to join in, go check out the creations from the other DT members and the others who have entered into the challenges.
This challenge is anything Zombie!!!!! I actually used to different images. The main one is Zombie Betty....you see her upper body and legs (the legs with heels). The other set of legs is from Zombie Rio. Thought it was a cute twist to add Rio's legs in the mix...lol
Here is my take on the challenge with my Zombie Betty "coming out of the ground"

Happy Birthday, Gloria!!!

My dear friend, Gloria, had a birthday on Saturday, September 14. I drove about 4 hours to spend a couple of days with her and had a REALLY nice time. It is so nice to just sit and chat with her and spend some quiet, quality time with her.
I took her flowers for her birthday...
...look at a piece of her awesome craft room in the background!!
(can you spell J-E-A-L-O-U-S??!! lol)

And here is the card I made her...I love this image!
(It is a Wee stamp named Goldie)

I hope you enjoyed my short, quick trip as much as I did Gloria! Love you!!!!!
